Amazon Music is gearing up to release a brand-new series of Amazon Originals for the 22nd Annual Americanafest.
As part of its festival sponsorship, Amazon Music has already unveiled the never-before-heard demo of “Crowded Table” from Grammy-winner and 2022 Americana Award nominee Natalie Hemby as well as Aaron Raitiere’s Amazon Original song, “Ol Kentucky.”
Originally released by country music supergroup The Highwomen, “Crowned Table” won the 2020 Americana Award for Song of the Year and the 2021 Grammy for Best Country Song.
Hemby co-wrote the track with ACM Songwriter of the Year Lori McKenna and her bandmate, Brandi Carlile, who won Americana Artist of the Year in 2021. Meanwhile, Grammy-winning songwriter Raitiere penned “Ol Kentucky” alongside Pat McLaughlin. The track was produced by Grammy-nominated musician Anderson East.
Additional Amazon Originals will be released leading up to and throughout Americanafest, which takes place in Nashville from 9/13-17.
