RON PERRY
DROPS LSD

It’s not a flashback to a Grateful Dead concert when Pigpen was alive, nor anything created in Timothy Leary’s apartment. This potent dose was cooked up in the studio by Labrinth, Sia and Diplo, known collectively as LSD, a new addition to the RECORDS/Columbia roster.

The trio has released its debut single, “Genius.” The project is executive-produced by label Chairman Ron Perry, who recently inked Diplo to an artist deal (having previously signed him for publishing during Perry's tenure as SONGS Prez).

The full-length album is coming soon, the label says.

Diplo posted on Twitter: “i’m glad I was invited to write music with them..it sounds like you think, epic random amazing pop music from outer space.”

Were hoping for a cover of “Purple Haze” or, at the least, songs with titles like “Blotter,” “Heavenly Blue” or “Window Pane.”
