Prior to breaking out the Foster’s and marmite, BMG and Dido’s management gathered for a quick snap. On hand are BMG’s Louise Hart, managers Vikki Josephs and Craig Logan, Dido, and BMG’s Alistair Norbury, Mandy Plumb and Paul Curran.
Dido has signed a worldwide deal with BMG to release her fifth album in 2019. Dido has co-written and co-produced the album with her brother, Rollo Armstrong, of Faithless.
BMG UK President Repertoire & Marketing Alistair Norbury said, “She is the quintessential BMG artist; an international icon who is returning after five years with an outstanding record.”
Back in the days of CDs, Dido sold piles of discs. Her hit single “Thank You,” which Eminem sampled on “Stan,” appeared on her 1999 debut, No Angel, which sold more than 20m copies worldwide. The followup, Life For Rent in 2003, included the hit “White Flag.”
