"BLACK PARADE," Beyoncé's new single in honor of Juneteenth weekend, arrived late Friday night via Parkwood/Columbia and continues to hold down the #1 slot at iTunes.
Bey announced that proceeds from the single would benefit BeyGOOD's Black Business Impact Fund, administered by the National Urban League, to support black-owned small businesses in need.
Upon announcing the song, Bey stated on socials, "Happy Juneteenth Weekend! I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle. Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power. “BLACK PARADE” celebrates you, your voice and your joy and will benefit Black-owned small businesses."
"BLACK PARADE" follows Beyoncé's 2019 projects HOMECOMING (The Live Album) and The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack to the Disney movie. She also recently appeared as a featured guest on Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage – Remix."
