LOLLAPALOOZA RETURNS

Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator and Miley Cyrus will headline the four-day 30th anniversary edition of Lollapalooza as it returns to Chicago’s Grant Park at full capacity 7/29-8/1. Tickets go on sale today.

The lineup is heavy on rising and young hip-hop stars such DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Rich, Playboi Carti, Polo G and Young Thug. Tapping into the fest’s alt roots are blasts from the past such as Limp Bizkit, Modest Mouse, Jimmy Eat World and All Time Low. Journey is playing as well.

Details on the festival entry process will be available in early July. Full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be required to attend the festival. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 24 hours of attending Lollapalooza each day.

Lollapalooza will partner with the city to encourage vaccinations in Chicago in the weeks prior to the festival.

Ticket-prices for the four days run from $350 to $4,200.

Lollapalooza joins a crowded Chicagoland festival scene. Ruido Fest with Café Tacvba headlining gets the seasons started 8/20-22, the Arc house music fest is 9/4-5, Pitchfork pulls in 9/10-12, Riot Fest is 9/17-19, and Chicago Blues Festival is 9/18.
