Billie Eilish will become the youngest solo headliner in Glastonbury history when she performs on 6/24/22.
Her appearance is the first artist announcement from the Glasto camp. This will be the "Happier Than Ever" singer's first U.K. festival headlining performance. Eilish, who turns 20 in December, previously played Glastonbury in 2019.
“This feels like the perfect way for us to return,” Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis said of the Mike Malak-repped star.
Glastonbury was canceled in 2020 after Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar had been announced as headliners; this year’s fest was also kiboshed, likewise due to the pandemic.
We are very excited to confirm that @billieeilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night at Glastonbury 2022, to become the Festival's youngest ever solo headliner. This will be her first UK festival headline performance. pic.twitter.com/k307gNKyAU
