Travis Scott will release new music at midnight ET, heralding his performance at Astroworld this weekend.
The song's cover art takes us back to such classic Weekly World News headlines as “Redneck Aliens Take Over Trailer Park!” “Satan’s Skull Found in New Mexico!” and “HITS in Line for Pulitzer Prize!”
Fans may note that the image Scott used for “The True Dystopia Is Here” strongly resembles the oft-captured Bat Boy (who nonetheless consistently manages to escape his captors). To these eyes, he takes after quite a few of the 1/6 Capitol rioters.
We’ll learn more at 9pm PT tonight when Astroworld is streamed on Apple Music.
