Nadia Ali will spearhead Arista Records’ artist and corporate publicity efforts in her new role as VP of Publicity.
Based in New York, Ali will co-report to President/CEO David Massey and Senior Vice President, Marketing, Brian Vinikoor.
Ali joins Arista from running her own full-service music-entertainment public-relations firm. Prior to that, she worked in publicity at Island Records for four years, where she helped break artists such as Bishop Briggs and Mike Posner.
Sonali Mehta, meanwhile, has been named Director, Digital Marketing. She will report to Ethan Geltzer, Vice President, Digital Marketing.
Formerly with YouTube Music, Mehta will work on digital-marketing campaigns for artists such as JP Saxe and Tai Verdes, extending to content strategy, influencer and social-media marketing, audience development and advertising. She will also lead long-form video strategy.
