LIZZY McALPINE's SPED-UP "CEILINGS" TRIUMPHS ON TIKTOK
AWAL's Lizzy McAlpine is enjoying a TikTok bump thanks to more than 46k creations using a sped-up version of her 2022 single, "ceilings." TikTokers have employed the song to soundtrack Valentine’s brunches with friends, beach strolls and late-night rendezvous. It's currently #14 on Spotify, up five spots from 2/26.
For her part, McAlpine has seized the moment, sharing behind-the-scenes footage from a new video shoot and revealing the clip stars her actual boyfriend.
McAlpine's sophomore album, Five Seconds Flat, arrived in 2022. Coincidentally, that's how long it took her to delete our emails. Check out the official vid for "ceilings" below.
