SONY LEADS Q1 PUBLISHING CURRENTS

With a share in two-thirds of the Top 100 airplay songs of Q1, Sony Music Publishing leads publishing market share (29%) in that category for the 12th consecutive quarter. SMP's Jack Harlow had the top-performing track of Q1 with "Lovin on Me." SMP also had the top songwriter of Q1 in Noah Kahan. Tate McRae's "Greedy," meanwhile, ranked #4 on the quarter's airplay and songwriters charts.

Warner Chappell Music finishes second, growing its share to around 22% of the Top 100 airplay and songs (songwriters) of Q1. WCM finished #1 in Country airplay. Its top songwriters in Q1 included Zach Bryan, Teddy Swims, Amy Allen and Benson Boone.

UMPG was third in publisher share in airplay and the Top 100 songs of Q1. Along with Taylor Swift topping the airplay chart, UMPG's top songwriters included Jack Antonoff, SZA and Dua Lipa.
