U.K. CHARTS: EMINEM STILL #1, SABRINA REPLACES HERSELF

Eminem has scored a second week at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart, while over on the singles roundup, Sabrina Carpenter replaces herself at the top—again.

The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) (Interscope) beat competition from Olivia Rodrigo to remain at #1 on albums this week. The latter’s GUTS (Geffen) is up 20 places today to #2 following the release of its (spilled) edition.

The week’s highest new album entry is the fourth set by SOFT PLAY, Heavy Jelly (BMG), which gives the group formerly known as Slaves a career-best at #3. Glass Animals' fourth set, I Love You So F***ing Much (Polydor), is their second Top 10 at #5. Charli xcx’s Mercury-nominated BRAT (Atlantic) enjoys a seventh consecutive week in the Top 10 at #6.

Deep Purple land at #12 with =1 (earMUSIC), and Welsh indie outfit Los Campesinos! are new at #14 with All Hell (Heart Swells).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” (Island) returns to #1 for a fourth nonconsecutive week; her “Espresso” moves down to #9. Carpenter has occupied the #1 spot for 11 weeks—the most since Rodrigo spent 14 nonconsecutive weeks at the top in 2021 with “drivers license” (nine weeks) and “good 4 u” (five weeks).

“BIRDS OF A FEATHER" (Interscope) by Billie Eilish is up three spots to a new peak of #2. “Good Luck, Babe!” (Island) by Chappell Roan also reaches new heights, rising three to #3.

BTS star Jimin has a solo career best, with “Who” (BIGHIT) landing at #4 to give him his second Top 10. “Stargazing” (RCA) by Myles Smith jumps two to #5.

The first solo single by Little Mix member JADE, “Angel of My Dreams” (RCA), is new at #7. “Kisses” (Warner Music U.K.) by BL3SS, CamrinWatsin & Bbyclose breaks into the Top 20 for the first time, rising nine to #13.
