ON THE COVER;
’SCOPE IS DOPE

For our Q2 New & Developing Artists special issue, it’s only fitting that we feature RCA’s vibrant breakout, Doja Cat, whose gigantic streams preceded a Pop radio rampage for “Say So,” as Joe Riccitelli seals the deal. This Cat is definitely earning some scratch, though she may feel this HITS cover appearance belongs at the bottom of the litterbox.

Joie Manda has been on a helluva hot streak at John Janick’s Interscope, riding herd on hits from DaBaby, Playboi Carti and Lil Mosey, right on the heels of smashes from Todd Moscowitz’s Alamo and LVRN (notably R&B breakout Summer Walker), Juice WRLD, Dreamville and more. Alongside the boss, Berman, Brenda and team, Joie continues to rack up the hits. If only he could’ve scoped out a way to avoid this HITS Contents mention.
