STONES REHEAT SOUP

The Rolling Stones have a released an outtake from their 1973 album, Goats Head Soup, ahead of the release of expanded editions of the album that yielded “Angie” and “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker).”

“Criss Cross” is an instant grat track from the four-disc CD and vinyl box set editions of Goats Head Soup that Polydor/Interscope/UMe will release on 9/4. The box set and deluxe CD and vinyl editions will feature 10 bonus tracks, which include alternate versions, outtakes and three previously unheard tracks—“Criss Cross,” “All The Rage” and “Scarlet,” which features Jimmy Page on guitar and Rick Grech on bass.

The box set editions of Goats Head Soup will also include Brussels Affair, the 15-track live album recorded in Belgium on the autumn 1973 tour that followed the album's late August release. A 100-page book features photographs, essays and tour posters.
